Clear Channel Communications’ Third Annual iHeartRadio Music Festival has been announced for September 20th and 21st at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The two-day festival interlaces the biggest artists from all genres each year in Vegas and this year is no doubt one of the biggest with pop superstars Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry performing along side rock legends Elton John and Queen + Adam Lambert and country superstars Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.
The show kicks off Friday, September 20th with Katy Perry, Queen + Adam Lambert, Fun., Elton John, Keith Urban, J. Cole, Muse, Tiesto and Chris Brown taking the stage. On Saturday, September 21st, Justin Timberlake, Tim McGraw, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Phoenix, Ke$ha, Miguel, Zedd, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Benny Benassi close out the weekend’s festivities.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday, July 20th at 1 pm ET via Ticketmaster. Ticket prices range from $82.40 to $447.15, including all fees, per ticket with a four ticket limit.
This year, the iHeartRadio Music Festival gets even bigger with the addition of The Village featuring performances all day Saturday from 10 am-4 pm at a brand new outdoor venue called The Lot on the Vegas Strip. Performers include Miley Cyrus, The Wanted, Jason Derulo, The Band Perry, Avril Lavigne, Krewella, Cher Lloyd, Twenty One Pilots, Pete Tong, AWOLNation and a special performance by rapper Ne-Yo, plus your last chance to win tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena! Tickets for The Village performances are separate and will not be honored for entry to the nightly shows, but are much cheaper at $29.55 after fees. There is an eight limit ticket per household, but two ticket limit during pre-sale.
Last year’s event sold out within five minutes, so tickets are expected to go quick this year.
For fans who can’t attend the event, The CW will kick off their fall TV season with performances from the festival. The network, which began airing the special last year, will expand from the single night two hour broadcast to four hours over two nights. Performances will air September 30th and October 1st.
