Bring The Soul: The Movie breaks 2.55 million admits across 112 territories worldwide

Big Hit Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing have announced that the latest feature film, Bring The Soul: The Movie, from global superstars BTS, saw 2.55 million admits around the world flock to their local cinema to see the boy band following their landmark Love Yourself Tour.

The film was previously announced to be seen across 112 territories worldwide.

Since opening August 7th, Bring The Soul: The Movie has been seen in over 5,000 movie theaters on a limited engagement gaining a global box office of circa $24.3 million.

The film reached the No. 10 spot in its opening weekend box office for the US achieving over $4.5 million. In its opening weekend box office for the UK, the film achieved the No. 9 spot.

The K-pop superstars are taking an extended break for the first time since the group’s formation. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook have gained popularity around the world while breaking many records, including scoring a GRAMMY nomination. The group’s label, Big Hit Entertainment, shared the message over the weekend, claiming the group needs some time away.

Since their debut in 2013, the group has gained recognition from their authentic, self-produced music and top-notch performances to the way they interact with their fans. While imparting a positive influence through activities such as the Love Myself campaign and the UN ‘Speak Yourself’ speech, BTS has mobilized millions of fans across the world (named ARMY), topped prominent music charts, sold out worldwide tours including stadiums, have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards and a GRAMMY nomination, released three feature films, launched a mobile game and more.
