Third Man Records hosts Willie Nelson ‘CMT Crossroads’ special

No airdate has been announced

Jack White’s Third Man Records has been doing a lot of business lately.  On Thursday (April 18th), just two days shy of the big Record Store Day festivities it held, country legend Willie Nelson celebrated his upcoming 80th birthday with a taping of CMT Crossroads: Willie Nelson & Friends From Third Man Records.

Nelson was joined by Sheryl Crow, Jamey Johnson, Norah Jones, Ashley Monroe, Leon Russell and Neil Young to perform duets of some of his most popular songs.  Jack White hosted the special which is slated to air on Country Music Television (CMT) in late June.

Nelson turns 80 on Monday, April 29th, even though most reference books cite it as April 30th.

Happy Birthday, Willie!
