Why is the kid from Rookie of the Year who made a pact with his friends in American Pie touring with his band under the Bacardi banner? While the band does enjoy a Bacardi Cuba Libre for a good time, it turns out that there may be a good cause behind it also.
Here’s what Thomas has to say about having a good time for a good cause.
“My band and I have released five albums and played over 450 shows since 2008. At least 100 of those concerts were in Illinois. So with our sixth album coming out in a few months we of course wanted to do a fun Midwest music tour.”
“We’ve done a few events with Wirtz Beverage over the years and I know that they are actively involved in many worthy causes. Since our new album just got funded on PledgeMusic in support of the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, it seemed like the perfect way for us to play concerts around the state bringing people a good time for a good cause.”
The new TNB album entitled Security will be released in the US on April 20th. There’s still about 30 days to check out the PledgeMusic campaign for exclusive rewards and to help raise more for St. Jude.
“We’ve teamed up with the cheery folks at Pledge Music to bring you closer to the band then ever before AND raise money for St. Jude at the same time,” Nicholas writes.
“This NEW CD is being offered to you exclusively on Pledge. Combined with an array of other exclusive items and opportunities that we’ve created just for you. As soon as you choose any item, you become an official pledger. Which will give you access to our private updates page…..we’re talkin’ videos, photos, blogs, etc…. and EVERY SINGLE pledger gets a download of the album before it gets released on iTunes.”
Twenty-five percent of any money raised after the goal is reached will go to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Nicholas will also host a fundraiser for St Jude in Springfield, IL with KISS FM on Saturday, April 4th.
