Thomas Rhett earns ‘Unforgettable’ ninth No. 1

The “Sharp-eyed, witty” (The Washington Post) Hit Also Spends Third Week at the Top of the Charts in Canada

Thomas Rhett’s career continues to skyrocket as “Unforgettable” hits No. 1 this week on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts, reaching the top in just 14 weeks as the fastest-peaking song of his career so far. The “charming” (Rolling Stone) single is also holding the No. 1 spot for the third straight week on the Mediabase Canada Country chart. “Unforgettable” is the second single from Thomas Rhett’s Billboard 200 chart-topping release Life Changes (The Valory Music Co.), marking the third No. 1 this year and the ninth of his career.

“This is a really cool way to kick off CMA week,” states Rhett. “It’s always a good week because everyone is in town, we all get to see each other, hangout backstage at the show, but to also find out ‘Unforgettable’ is No. one is awesome.”

Rhett is currently nominated for three CMA Awards including Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event Of The Year and Music Video of the Year for the No. 1 gold-certified lead track “Craving You” as well as an American Music Award for Favorite Country Male Artist. He has earned major trophies from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Billboard Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, iHeart Radio Music Awards and more while also drawing GRAMMY Awards and Teen Choice Awards nominations, among others.

In September, Thomas Rhett released his third album Life Changes, the biggest, boldest-sounding record of his career, filled with a diverse batch of songs united by the “consistency of their craft” (Variety) as he stretches his sound to new limits. Highlighting his “detailed style of songwriting” (Rolling Stone), the new release debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, marking the first country release to take the top spot in 2017. He recently announced his headlining Life Changes Tour 2018, following his in-demand Home Team Tour which has sold out 27 stops so far this year and continues this week in Europe.
