Three Days Grace bests own record with 11th #1 single

RCA congratulates Canadian rockers Three Days Grace for making chart history again on Monday (Oct 21st) scoring their 11th #1 single at Active Rock Radio with “Misery Loves My Company,” the third single from their highly successful #1 Hard Rock chart debuting album Transit of Venus.

“Misery Loves My Company” follows the #1 charting “The High Road,” which topped Linkin Park’s record in the spring of this year when reached #1 on the Active Rock radio chart. Three Days Grace continues to hold the record with most #1s at Active Rock radio with 11 now, followed by Linkin Park and Shinedown each with nine, Disturbed with seven, Seether with six, and Godsmack with five during the Mediabase era (since 2001).

Three Days Grace have been continually on the road this year in support of their Top 5 Top 200 Chart debuting album Transit Of Venus (RCA Records), which hit stores last October. In addition to debuting at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, Transit Of Venus debuted at #1 on the Hard Rock Music Chart and #4 on the Digital Albums Chart. Three Days Grace embarked on new creative ground with their album Transit Of Venus, recording for the first time with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine).
