Ahead of the forthcoming summer 2018 leg of their critically-acclaimed Soul2Soul The World Tour, Grammy Award winning superstars Tim McGraw & Faith Hill have announced rising singer/songwriter Caitlyn Smith and country star Devin Dawson as support acts throughout the run. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.

Smith will serve as opening act from the tour kick-off date – May 31st in Richmond, VA – while Dawson will take over as opening act on June 26th in Bossier City, LA, through the end of the leg. Please see below for full itinerary for U.S. tour support.

Though she initially found success as a songwriter penning hits for acts such as James Bay, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, John legend and Meghan Trainor (for whom she co-wrote the four-time-platinum duet “Like I’m Gonna Lose You”), in the last year Caitlyn Smith has become one of Nashville’s most celebrated new voices. Since she released her album Starfire earlier this year, critics immediately began taking notice: New York Times calls her sound “format-defying” with a “striking voice” while ELLE Magazine has praised her “powerful, affecting songs.” Caitlyn was also named one of the “top female vocalists” on Billboard’s SXSW 2017 Music Discovery. Her first single “Starfire” is currently at Triple A radio and can be heard on NPR’s World Café on March 7th.

Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville artist Devin Dawson has an approach to music that’s not different on purpose, it’s different with purpose. He grew up just outside the gates of Folsom Prison, drawing inspiration from Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Pulling from these influences, he began to write in a style that is definitively country. Dawson’s lyrics, full of romance and vulnerability and delivered with a distinctive saw-toothed vocal, draw you in from the first verse and keep you hooked until the very last chord. Since the release of his currently Top 5 debut single “All On Me,” the California-native has performed on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and TODAY, earning critical praise from a multitude of outlets including People, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, ELLE, Billboard, Stereogum, American Songwriter, and just received his first ACM nomination for New Male Vocalist. His unique mix of organic roots and high-voltage country is showcased masterfully on his debut Dark Horse, produced by the daring Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne). With a co-write credit on every track, the result will further establish Dawson’s building reputation as a dark horse set to emerge as one of the most exciting modern storytellers the format has ever seen.

The Soul2Soul World Tour – which has sold over one million tickets since its initial trek that spanned April-October 2017 – has been a fan favorite and critical success from its launch, with rave reviews and sold out shows. The tour was the #1 Country Tour in Billboard’s Boxscore and among the Top 10 North American tour and Top 20 Worldwide tour all-genres in Pollstar’s year-end 2017 charts. The show has consistently stunned audiences across North America with its sharp production, deep catalog of hits, and McGraw & Hill’s palpable chemistry.
