The Name Chapter: Temptation is available now

K-pop superstars Tomorrow X Together (TXT) have landed their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with The Name Chapter: Temptation. The group debuted their fifth EP at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart, marking the first time the band topped the Billboard 200 since their debut in March 2019.

According to Billboard, the EP scores the largest sales week for any album since Taylor Swift’s Midnights debuted at No. 1 with 1.14 million copies sold on the November 5, 2022-dated chart.

This is the group’s seventh album to chart within the Billboard 200 following The Dream Chapter: Star EP at No. 140 (chart dated March 16, 2019); Minisode 1 : Blue Hour EP at No. 25 (chart dated November 21, 2020); Still Dreaming at No. 173 (chart dated February 27, 2021); The Chaos Chapter: Freeze at No. 5 (chart dated June 19, 2021); Chaotic Wonderland EP at No. 177 (chart dated December 18, 2021); and Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child (EP) at No. 4 (chart dated May 28, 2022).

In 2022, TXT saw its name listed on Billboard’s official 2022 Year-End Billboard 200 chart as the only K-pop act other than BTS. The band’s fourth EP, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, was also ranked the third in Luminate’s 2022 report for Top CD Album Sales in US after Taylor Swift and BTS.

The group is set to launch its second world tour this spring with 21 shows across 13 cities. The Act: Sweet Mirage Tour will begin in Seoul on March 25th with two consecutive days, followed by in Singapore on April 1st and in Taipei on April 5th. The tour dates in Japan include April 14th and 15th in Osaka, 18th and 19th in Saitama, 25th and 26th in Kanagawa, as well as 29th and 30th in Aichi. The Gen Z “it” group heads to the United States in May for shows in Charlotte, NC; Belmont Park, NY; Washington, DC; Duluth, GA; San Antonio, TX; and Los Angeles.
