Primavera Sound runs this Oct and Nov
Travis Scott has announced his first headlining appearance since last year’s AstroWorld tragedy. The rapper will headline three Primavera Sound festivals in South America this fall at Primavera Sound Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago.
Scott is also expected to be performing at other major festivals, although details and cities are unknown as of press time.
Primavera Sound in São Paulo runs from October 31st through November 6th with Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires both running November 7th through 13th. Arctic Monkeys, Jack White, Bjork, Pixies, Lorde, Charli XCX, Interpol, Phoebe Bridgers, and others will perform at the festivals.
The Argentine and Chilean editions will also set course for the festival dates with the Road to Primavera event, which will include Jack White, Pixies and Cat Power to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile on October 14th and 16th, respectively.
Tickets and passes in the different modalities (general passes, VIP passes, day tickets, Primavera en la Ciudad, Road to Primavera) are already on sale via primaverasound.com.
Primavera Sound began in Spain but has expanded to include festivals in South America and Los Angeles. Arctic Monkeys, Lorde and Nine Inch Nails are set to headline the inaugural LA edition September 16-18th at State Historic Park.
