Travis Scott teams with Fortnite for ‘Astronomical’

New song premieres on the gaming platform on April 23rd

Travis Scott + Cactus Jack have partnered with Fortnite on a one of a kind in-game experiential performance and the world premiere of a new song. The “Astronomical” in-game experience takes place within Fortnite on Thursday, April 23rd at 7 pm EDT with the in-game waiting room opening 30 minutes prior to start.

“From April 23-25, blast off into a one of a kind musical journey featuring Travis Scott and the world premiere of a brand new track,” Fortnite shares. “‘Astronomical’ is an other-worldly experience inspired by Cactus Jack’s creations, built from the ground up in Fortnite.”

To accommodate the demand globally, multiple showings will occur for those in other time zones and those wanting to catch encore performances. On April 23rd, it will premiere at 7 pm EDT in North and South America; April 24th at 10 am EDT in Europe; and April 25th at midnight EDT for Asia and Oceania. Encore performances are April 25th at 11 am EDT and 6 pm EDT.

Ahead of the show on April 23rd, Scott will join the Fortnite Icon Series on Tuesday, April 21st, allowing players to get his exclusive outfits and emotes as well as unlocking other pieces by completing challenges. Attendees at the Astronomical event will also receive the Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens free.

In anticipation of the new song debuting in the game, limited edition formats of the new track have been made available on shop.travisscott.com.
