Band’s first English single “The Feels” lands on multiple Top 10 charts

Critically acclaimed K-Pop heavyweights, Twice, debuted their first full English-language single, “The Feels,” to multiple top 10 placements including No. 5 on Billboard Digital Song Sales and No. 10 on Billboard Global 200 (excluding US), as well as peaking at No. 3 and No. 4 on the US iTunes and US Amazon charts, respectively. The track also earned Twice their first career entries on The Billboard Hot 100 (No. 83) and UK’s Official Singles (No. 80) charts. Additional charts include Billboard Global 200, Billboard Canadian Hot 100, and Apple Music’s Global Top 100. The single’s official music video made a big splash, as well, earning the No. 1 spot on YouTube’s Global Top Music Video chart. The video currently boasts an impressive 65 million views and counting.

The release of “The Feels” follows what has already been a momentous year for the K-Pop powerhouses. They kicked off 2021 with a performance on TIME 100 Talks followed by their first US broadcast debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show and a performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In June, they released their 10th mini album, Taste of Love, which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as the music video for the album’s lead track “Alcohol-Free,” which was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for “Best K-Pop.” Most recently, the group performed “The Feels” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and GMA3. Next, they will be releasing their third full-length album, Formula Of Love: O+T=<3, on Friday, November 12th.

Throughout the last six years, Twice has become a globally renowned phenomenon, rapidly taking the US and beyond by storm – including the moment they graced Allure Magazine’s May 2020 cover. Their 2020 chart-topping albums, More & More and Eyes Wide Open, were included in TIME, Billboard, Teen Vogue, PAPER and BuzzFeed’s roundup of top albums of the year. More & More also marked the first time Twice have been included in Billboard’s Artist 100 and Billboard 200 lists, becoming the fifth all-female musical act from their country to rank on the 200 chart. In addition, Eyes Wide Open, hit the top five slot on the all-genre iTunes US Album Sales Chart, debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, and ranked No. 72 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
