Despite what everyone says, creating a playlist is no easy feat. Those picking the songs have to deal with the pressure of catering to all party members. The last thing you want is seeing someone not participating in the party because they just can’t vibe with the music. Especially, when it’s a bus party because if someone doesn’t like the music, they’re stuck for the entire duration of the ride. If you’ve been tasked with this beautiful burden, we’ve got a select playlist to help you out.

“Party Rock Anthem” – LMFAO

Now, there are a lot of party songs out there, but nothing compares to this 2011 hit. It’s one of those songs that everybody knows and instantly vibes to. In other words, no one will be sitting in the corner of the bus and staring out the window.

“I Gotta Feeling” – Black Eyed Peas

What’s better to listen to on your way to a hot event than a song that literally says, “tonight’s gonna be a good night.” This 2009 pop classic is just what you’ll need to get your pre-party (or after-party) started.

“Highway to Hell” – AC/DC

For when you hit the open road, here’s an all-time classic to remind you that there are no stop signs or speed limit; you’re on your way to the promised land. Just imagine everyone shouting to the chorus and shredding their air-guitars all over the bus. No stage dives, though. Stay safe.

“Route 66” – John Mayer

Despite the original version belonging to the incomparable Chuck Berry, our favorite cover is John Mayer’s; the tempo is perfect. Picture travelling from Chicago to L.A. in a Charter Bus Rental belonging to Price 4 Limo, the biggest limousine party bus and limousine company in the United States, all the while, you’re passing by every city mentioned in the song; it’s only fitting!

“A Horse with No Name” – America

Let’s face it, at some point, all the party peeps are gonna be tuckered out. So, what’s there to do? Play a relaxing song every once in a while. This ’77 Grammy winner speaks of a never-ending journey away from all confusion and towards a happier peace. We’re sure some would relate.

“You Give Love a Bad Name” – Bon Jovi

SHOT THROUGH THE HEART! Who doesn’t know this legendary line? If you’re a fan of NBC’s sitcom How I Met Your Mother, you’ll recognize this song as the first on Barney Stinson’s Get Psyched Mix. In other words, get ready for some action when this song comes on.

There’s an art to making playlists, it’s not just about shoving as many songs as possible together in sequence. It’s about finding songs that match the taste of everyone on your party bus; that’s the difference between a good playlist and the ultimate playlist. So, a day or two before your bus ride, sit yourself down and try to conjure up your friends’ interests, music tastes, and personalities. Then, tailor your playlist to suit everyone. Good luck!
