Umbrella Bed brings fun and energy to EP

Umbrella Bed, one of 2Tone ska’s most critically acclaimed bands, returns with its new EP Refill. Who in their right mind would think amazing ska music can come out of Minneapolis—Umbrella Bed’s base of operations—and 2Tone ska at that, have certainly not experienced the energy that comes out of each and every live show Umbrella Bed perform in.

On Refill, five very strong tracks complete this album that has a lot of fun and energy revolving around it and yes, it will have you on your feet. From the party-oriented track “Got It Wrong Now” to the socially aware “Two Tone Monster” to the mostly instrumental spacey “Dubb Away,” Refill delivers.

Whether or not ska is on your regular rotation, Umbrella Bed’s Refill should be.
