UMG announces ‘Covered by Country’ face mask campaign

Many UMG Nashville artists are featured

Universal Music Group (UMG) has announced its Covered by Country face mask campaign with the likes of many of its country artists. Reusable and washable masks featuring Alan Jackson, Hot Country Knights, Maddie & Tae, Carrie Underwood, Billy Currington, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Hootie & The Blowfish, Gary Allan, Jon Pardi, Luke Bryan, Vince Gill and others can be purchased at UMG’s online store.

All masks are $15 each with 100 percent of the net proceeds to be donated directly to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, providing financial support to the music community.

The campaign kicked off in late April when its parent company and merch sidekick Bravado launched We’ve Got You Covered featuring masks by Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, The Rolling Stones, BlackPink, XXXTenacion, Ariana Grande, Bob Marley, Tupac, Conan Gray, Justin Bieber, Queen, Slipknot, Imagine Dragons, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Willie Nelson, Yungblud, 5SOS and Frank Sinatra.

Bravado’s We’ve Got You Covered initiative is a global, three-part program that supports UMG employees, the music community and key community service providers. This initiative further expands Universal Music Group’s response to help support those affected by the pandemic and an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Bravado and UMG launched this program first by offering free face masks to all UMG employees. The program will also contribute 50,000 masks to those serving communities across the U.S. including workers in food banks, school lunch programs, homeless shelters and other community service providers across.
