‘The Voice’ announces Season 22 Battle Advisors

Show returns Sept 19th

NBC’s The Voice has announced that Jazmine Sullivan, Charlie Puth, Jimmie Allen and Sean Paul will be the Battle Advisors for the show’s upcoming 22nd season. The 4x Emmy Award-winning musical competition series returns Monday, September 19th at 8 pm ET/PT with the strongest vocalists across the country invited to compete in the show’s newest season.

Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani will join John Legend and Blake Shelton as Coaches on when the show. Carson Daly returns as host.

Critically acclaimed two-time Grammy Award-winning R&B singer-songwriter Jazmine Sullivan will advise Team Legend; Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Charlie Puth will advise Team Camila; Team Blake will have Grammy Award-nominated, chart-topping country music star Jimmie Allen as advisor and Team Gwen will see Grammy Award-winning rapper, singer and songwriter Sean Paul, who is considered one of Jamaica’s most prolific artists, advise.

This season will showcase a new format element during the Knockout Rounds. For the first time ever, this phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts. The stakes have never been higher for the coaches and their artists as they vie for the win. In lieu of enlisting a mega mentor, coaches will work with their artists directly to prepare them as best as possible for this new challenge.

The previous season of The Voice was the No. 1 unscripted show for the third year in a row – once again topping all broadcast competition in total viewers.
