Warner Music Nashville signs Avery Anna

Singer recognized for earning 100k+ subscribers

Warner Music Nashville surprised CMA Fest attendees at Ascend Amphitheater on Saturday (June 11th) with a special announcement that breakout talent Avery Anna would be joining the label family. She then took the stage for a set that included her viral hit “Narcissist,” which is nearing 70 million global streams and has already topped SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.

Anna began her career in a bathtub. As schools turned to virtual learning during the pandemic, she started filming videos of herself singing in her mom’s bathroom – where, she says, the acoustics were best. Two years later, the Arizona native is a newly minted high school graduate with more than 1.5 million followers and 26 million likes on TikTok. Kelly Clarkson has even covered “Narcissist” on her eponymous TV show. Before her performance on Saturday night, WMN co-presidents Ben Kline and Cris Lacy presented Avery with a YouTube plaque commemorating 100,000+ subscribers.

“There is a spirit of poetic ease and confidence with which Avery writes, plays, and sings,” states Warner Music Nashville Co-President Cris Lacy. “It belies her age, and you can’t help but be captivated by that much talent and joy coming from the stage.”

Avery Anna, named both a SiriusXM Highway Find and YouTube Artist on the Rise, is already proving her staying power. Songs such as “Just Cause I Love You” and “Can’t Miss You Anymore” have earned several million streams each. Fans can catch the young singer on select tour dates throughout the summer as she prepares to release new music later this year.
