Wave to Earth announces global tour

The South Korean indie pop band will make their debut in Australia and New Zealand this year

South Korean indie pop three-piece Wave to Earth will embark on its 0.03 World Tour this year, making stops in the US, Australia, and New Zealand. The group features singer-songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Dong Kyu Shin, and bassist John Cha, performing a slew of dates in the US this summer before heading Down Under in November and December.

Australian and New Zealand presales start on Thursday, July 3rd, ahead of the general sale on Tuesday, July 8th.

The run follows the group’s first North American tour in August 2023, selling out over 20,000 tickets and delivering 20 unforgettable shows across the continent. Their live performances continue to resonate deeply with fans.

Wave to Earth produces indie pop with a lo-fi sound, incorporating jazz drumming to create a unique sense of the seasons and a dreamy atmosphere in the music.

With the primary motto of “all self-made,” all recording, mixing, and mastering is done directly by the band members, who also direct the overall art field, such as album art, video, and fashion.

Wave to Earth debuted with the single “Wave” in 2019, followed by EPs Wave 0.01 and Summer Flows 0.02. After joining the Wavy Seoul label, they released singles “Nouvelle Vague” and “Calla.”

Wave to Earth dropped their highly anticipated first full-length album in April 2023, titled 0.1 Flaws and All. This album features a collection of 14 captivating tracks, each a testament to the band’s evolving artistry. One standout track, “Bad,” was charted No/ 1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 – Global, underscoring their global appeal.
