Pop star celebrates fifth anniversary of Starboy album

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of his acclaimed album Starboy, The Weeknd announces the launch of a five-piece limited edition collection designed in collaboration with John Ross’s Seventh Heaven. The collection features a hoodie, short sleeve tee, and  two premium handmade jackets in leather and denim with Seventh Heaven’s signature motif, a padded 3D cross. A signature symbol of the Starboy era, a cross shaped shoulder bag rounds out the celebratory capsule.

“I’m excited to be working with The Weeknd, who is such a great artist, Cash and La Mar being people I really respect, it’s an honor to reimagine some of our staple pieces for this release,” Ross shares.

The capsule collection will be available exclusively on shop.theweeknd.com on November 25th at 3 pm ET/noon PT. Prices range from $75 for the tee to $800 for leather jacket.

Originally released on November 25, 2016, Starboy went 2x Platinum, captured No. 1 in 90 countries, and shattered the global streaming record at the time in under a week.

Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye is set to star in The Idol which was picked up to series this week by HBO. The Weeknd co-created the series with Sam Levinson (HBO’s Euphoria) and Reza Fahim. Lily-Rose Depp and Suzanna Son will co-star with the singer named as an executive producer.
