The Weeknd teams up with Summer Walker for a remix of “Best Friends.” The track follows the remix to “How Do I Make You Love Me” featuring Sebastian Ingrosso and Salvatore Ganacci. The original version of both songs appear on the pop star’s latest album, Dawn FM, which dropped in January.

Upon its release, Dawn FM debuted No. 1 Apple Music US and in 125 countries as well as No. 1 Spotify US & Globally, with no physical versions available at the time. Adding to the laurels, the single “Sacrifice” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify US and global and is charting in over 130 countries on Apple Music.

Dawn FM also set a new record on the Billboard Global 200 chart – charting 24 songs, the most ever by a solo male artist. At the time, he had a rare two albums in the top 10 with the compilation The Highlights at No. 6.

The launch of album was backed by an innovative campaign which included The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience, an immersive music special on Amazon’s Prime Video expanding the album into a groundbreaking visual experience. This followed The Weeknd’s appearance in 103.5 Dawn FM, a livestream experience which streamed exclusively on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and in the Amazon Music app.

One of the most popular live performers, The Weeknd is currently trekking the globe on his After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour which will visit North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East through the end of the year.

Earlier this year, Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd, signed an expansive, long-term partnership with Universal Music Group which covers future audiovisual projects, merch and publishing, in collaboration with Republic Records and UMG.

For the first time ever, The Weeknd joins forces with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights to inspire all-new, terrifying haunted houses based on his record-breaking After Hours album. Beginning September 2nd at Universal Orlando Resort and on September 8th at Universal Studios Hollywood, guests will spiral into the twisted mind of this mysterious artist to experience “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare.” Both events will run select nights through Monday, October 31st.
