First-ever Hixtape event hits Nashville’s Losers this week

Trailblazing lifestyle brand and country mixtape Hixtape will be live from Nashville for its first-ever live event. Partnering with Music City’s storied Whiskey Jam concert series, the night will feature choice collaborations from Hixtape: Vol 1 & 2, along with performances from the artists’ individual catalogs.

Hixtape founder Hardy and favorites Ernest, Jon Langston, Ben Burgess, Sean Stemaly, Hunter Phelps and a rolodex of surprise guests will perform on Wednesday, August 3rd in the Losers Bar and Grill Parking Pot on Division St in Nashville. Doors open at 6 pm CT.

“We’ve seen Hardy evolve through the years at Whiskey Jam from playing backup for other artists, to taking the stage under his own name & finding his unique sound, to the absolute revolution that he has brought to the music scene,” Whiskey Jam founder and Apple Music Radio host Ward Guenther shares. “This Hixtape takeover is about as big a culmination as we could envision for the story that is Hardy and Whiskey Jam.”

Both a lifestyle brand and a countrified mixtape of backroads bangers and party-friendly country anthems, Hixtape was born in the heart of Hixville – riddled with charged up country originals, undeniable humor, and swagger. Hixtape: Vol 2 makes room for 33 guests on 14 songs, with Hixtape O.G. HARDY on six tracks; Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Randy Houser, Marty Stuart, Midland, Morgan Wallen, Lee Brice, Jake Owen, Ronnie Dunn, Scotty McCreery, The Cadillac Three, Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett, Rhett Akins, Travis Denning, Sean Stemaly, Larry Fleet, Lainey Wilson, Jon Pardi, Josh Thompson, Justin Moore, Jimmie Allen, Jake Worthington, Granger Smith, Ernest, David Lee Murphy, Colt Ford, Chris Lane, Ashland Craft, Brantley Gilbert, Ben Burgess, and Chase Rice round out the sophomore project. Produced by Joey Moi, Hixtape: Vol 2 is an album created by a community, for a community, following the critical success of Vol. 1 released in 2019.

Whiskey Jam is a live music event that has been a staple of the Nashville community for nearly a dozen years. Thousands of artists, tens of thousands of guests, and countless magic moments have been seen & heard in their intimate dive bar setting. To give you an idea of their guest list, over 340 chart-topping songs have been either written or recorded by Whiskey Jam guests since 2011.
