Willie Nelson announces Outlaw Music Festival details

Willie Nelson, Live Nation and Blackbird Presents are proud to announce the full lineup of the Hersheypark Stadium Outlaw Music Festival event, now featuring the legendary singer/songwriter Van Morrison on Sunday, September 10th. The stellar lineup includes Willie Nelson & Family, Van Morrison, The Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid.

As Morrison’s only East Coast appearance in 2017 – and his first time ever sharing the stage with Nelson – the event is expected to include collaborations, surprises, and more. Hersheypark Stadium is truly going to witness history as the Belfast Cowboy and the Red Headed Stranger bring the Outlaw experience, and their mutual admiration, to Pennsylvania.

Morrison’s albums Astral Weeks, Moondance, and Tupelo Honey (among many others), have had a lasting effect on Americana music across the globe. His unique blend of bold roots, jazz, and soul, combined with a legacy of hit-songs like “Brown-Eyed Girl” and “Into the Mystic,” make every Morrison show a bucket-list experience.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 16th at 10 am online at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800- 745-3000, all Ticketmaster locations and the Giant Center box office. VIP packages including great seats and exclusive festival merchandise will be available.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Van’s for as long as I can remember. I’m thrilled to be with him on this incredible lineup in Hershey,” says Willie Nelson.

“I believe that having Willie, Van, the Avetts and Sheryl together on one lineup, for one night, makes for the concert event of the season,” says Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman.

“We work hard to be one of the biggest producers of artist-curated festivals in the country. And we’re honored to have added Willie’s Outlaw Festival as one of our offerings for the summer,” said Geoff Gordon, Live Nation Philadelphia Regional President. “And in year two of Outlaw, the event has grown into a summer tour with each city’s lineup being a little different from the next! In Philly we have Eric Church and in Hershey we have Van Morrison – making each stop a unique and special event.”
