Band plans to add more dates

The Winery Dogs have announced a handful of California and Las Vegas tour dates for May 2023. The trek is part of the band’s 202III World Tour which has them trekking the greater US before heading off to Latin America and Europe.

“California (and Las Vegas), you’ve been patiently waiting and here they finally are!! May 202III,” the band shares on its socials. “Yes we realize there are A LOT of markets on the west coast we are missing (we see you AZ, CO, OR, WA, etc) but this was all we were able to squeeze in during the available window between Latin America and Europe (and the markets where the promoters stepped up with reasonable offers)…we are already talking of extending this tour into 2024 because of the great demand for shows, so fingers crossed we can get to you then. In the meantime, perhaps take a trip to us if we’re not making it to you! C-ya then…”

California dates start May 17th in Los Angeles with stops in Anaheim, Solana Beach, Ventura, San Francisco, Fresno and Roseville before wrapping May 28th in Las Vegas.

The power rock trio of vocalist Richie Kotzen, bassist Billy Sheehan and drummer Mike Portnoy released their third studio album, III, last month via the band’s Three Dog Music label with distribution by Burnside Distribution/The Orchard. Following in the footsteps of their first two albums, III was once again self-produced by The Winery Dogs and mixed by longtime band associate Jay Ruston. The album’s first single and video, “Xanadu,” was released in December with “Mad World” following in January.

III is the follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed and Billboard-charting album, Hot Streak, which was released October 2, 2015 on Loud & Proud Records via RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. After landing in the top five on many of Amazon’s pre-order charts, including No. 1 on the Amazon BestSellers/Hard Rock chart and No. 1 on the Amazon Pre-Orders/Hard Rock Albums charts, it sold 30% more than their 2013 self-titled debut, landing them on various Billboard album charts including No. 2 on Top Current Alternative Albums, No. 5 on Top Current Hard Music and Top Hard Music Albums, No. 6 on Top Current Rock Albums and Album Core/Genre Rock,” No. 15 Top Current Physical Albums, No. 16 Top Current Albums, and No. 30 on the Top 200 Albums chart.
