X Ambassadors announce 2020 international tour dates

The Orion Tour goes international in 2020

Multi-platinum selling rock band X Ambassadors have announced plans to bring The Orion Tour to Australia, New Zealand and Europe in 2020, including a date in London on February 22nd which will be at a secret new venue to be announced. This will mark the first time X Ambassadors will tour Australia and New Zealand. Tickets go on sale October 18th at 9 am local time for New Zealand and Australian and 10 am UK time for all European dates. Tickets and VIP packages are available at the band’s website.

“We had such an amazing time in Europe this year, that we’ve decided to come back again in 2020! We can’t wait to see you” says X Ambassadors’ Sam Harris.

X Ambassadors released their sophomore album Orion in June on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records. The band worked with a crew of trusted producers among them Ricky Reed, Andrew Wells, Jayson DeZuzio and Rodney Jerkins on their sophomore release which features current single “Hold You Down.” The band recently kicked off The Orion Tour in the United States with upcoming shows in Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. See below for a list of remaining dates.

X Ambassador’s debut album VHS saw the band transition from Ithaca alt-rockers and Brooklyn indie scene outsiders to Billboard stalwarts. Now certified platinum, the album provided an intimate look at Sam Harris and his brother Casey Harris’ youth, studded with audio snippets from home movies, and early recording sessions and sound checks. With it, came the genre-defining hits “Unsteady” and “Renegades,” a three-year global touring odyssey and a string of high-profile festival performances. Harris’ songwriting became increasingly personal, resulting in the shattering, shimmering 2018 singles “Joyful” and “Don’t Stay” followed by a North American headline tour. In 2019, X Ambassadors released “Boom,” the first track off Orion, a quick-fire anthem for emphatic recovery and personal revolutions. The artwork for “Boom” is written in Braille and designed in a yellow-on-black colorway. For Casey Harris, the band’s keyboardist and Sam Harris’ brother, who was born blind, it is the first physical manifestation of his work that he has been able to experience visually. He has just 10% of his vision.
