X Japan talk about their return and new music at NYCC

The group returns to the United States after four years

In preparation of Japanese rockers X Japan performing their first U.S. show since 2010 at Madison Square Garden (MSG) on Saturday (Oct 11th), the band gathered to speak with the press at New York Comic Con (NYCC).

During the 15 minute press conference, the band, led by the legendary Yoshiki, discussed a variety of projects including when Americans will get introduced to the new album the band had to put on hold due to the Japanese tsunami in 2011.

“If everything goes well, we’re pretty sure it will be 2015,” Yoshiki states. “We are planning on another world tour, but next time we’ll have an album to play.”

Our very own Rob Perez was in attendance and provided us with video of the entire press conference which can be viewed below.
