Track debuts at No. 24 and 25 on the country charts

GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band launched “Same Boat,” their Warner Music Nashville/Home Grown Music debut single, on Friday, garnering overwhelming enthusiasm and praise from radio, press and fans.

The poignant track, written by front man Zac Brown along with Ben Simonetti and Jonathan Singleton, begins the week as the most-added song at country radio and debuts at No. 25 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart as well as No. 34 at Country Aircheck/Mediabase.

“‘Same Boat’ is really about the human condition,” states frontman Zac Brown. “It’s about how we all go through the same things, all together. It is a chance to be able to remind people to be positive, be good to each other and show empathy. You don’t know what it’s like to walk around in someone else’s shoes. We’re all human beings. Let’s spread some love around and show kindness to each other.”

Last month, the band announced their long-awaited return to the road with 2021’s The Comeback Tour. After a 14-month hiatus from touring due to COVID-19, the US tour will bring the band to some of the nation’s most storied venues, including Boston’s Fenway Park, where the band holds the record for most consecutive sold out shows. Kicking off on August 5th in Holmdel, NJ, the epic, multi-city tour includes performances in Cincinnati and Denver, concluding on October 17th in Nashville, TN at the famed Bridgestone Arena.

Last spring, Brown had to let go 90% of his touring band and crew and canceled all 2020 tour dates due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world. They’ve since released several new tracks and hosted a free live stream concert last summer that raised more than $1.4 million for Brown’s nonprofit passion project Camp Southern Ground and its veteran support programs.
