AT&T Creator Lab has teamed with Thirty Seconds to Mars (TStM) to livestream the band’s August 12th concert, and provide wireless connectivity and interactive fan experiences for their upcoming Camp Mars Music Festival. The music fest takes place August 11-14 in Malibu, California.

The Camp Mars Music Festival is in its third year and gives fans a special chance to relive the summer camp of their youth while interacting with Thirty Seconds to Mars through a variety of activities including hiking, yoga, games, art installations, meditation, and more. The band will give two intimate live performances in this unique and natural setting on August 12th and 13th.

AT&T will live stream Saturday night’s show on Facebook Live, att.net and VyRT, the social broadcast platform founded by Jared Leto.

“Camp Mars hosts excited fans from all over the world for a weekend of community, music and adventure,” says Karyn Spencer, Vice President Creator Lab, AT&T. “The mission of Creator Lab is to amplify the work of artists and give their fans unique experiences. For the first time ever, we’re giving festival-goers enhanced wireless coverage so they can text, tweet, snap and share their time at the event. This will help them connect with each other on site and share their experiences on social. Thirty Seconds to Mars is beloved by so many, and it’s a privilege to stream their concert around the globe.”

“To be doing this for a third year in a row is an absolute dream. We not only get to share our music, great food and tons of fun with people we love – but it also takes place in one of our favorite places on the planet, the beautiful mountains of Malibu,” states TStM frontman Jared Leto. “It’s always a magical weekend, and we look forward to making new friends and reconnecting with old ones. Working with AT&T this year will elevate the experience and, especially, help those who couldn’t travel to California become a part of this outdoor adventure, too.”

AT&T is the exclusive wireless provider of Camp Mars where they’re deploying a Cell on Wheels (COW) to help keep attendees connected so they can share their experiences with friends and family. Think of a COW as a portable network that provides extra coverage and capacity when the network faces heavy traffic in one area. The Camp Mars COW is expected to boost network capacity by nearly 100% during the festival.

Camp Mars Music Festival is presented once again by Adventures In Wonderland, an experiences company that builds unique activities and events to connect fans to their favorite artists. Tickets for the Camp Mars Music Festival in Malibu are available at Adventures In Wonderland.
