Brown is currently hospitalized
Blanco Brown has been injured in a head-on collision near his home in Atlanta, CA. His label, BBR Music Group, confirms he has suffered serious injuries on Monday night (Aug 31st), and is currently in an ICU.
“The accomplished writer, vocalist and Grammy-nominated producer suffered significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he underwent a 12 hour surgery to address those traumas. Additional surgeries are expected as he currently rests in the ICU,” the label says.
Brown is most notable for his 2019 worldwide viral smash “The Git Up” and his current hit “Just The Way.” Earlier this year, Brown teamed with EDM’s Diplo for “Do Si Do” which appears on Diplo’s long-awaited country album that was released over the summer.
