Dates were set to start on May 20th

Guns N Roses has canceled upcoming European dates on its 2020 worldwide stadium tour due to COVID-19. The rockers shared the news on Monday (May 11th), stating further announcements are forthcoming.

“GN’R Fam: Sadly, the upcoming European tour will not be happening,” they write. “Things are changing daily and we want to keep our fans, crew members and band safe. We are working hard with our promoters, venues and cities/countries on next steps and will make further announcements as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience, we will get through this together and look forward to seeing you all very soon…”

The group was set to kick off the 13 date trek later this month, with stops in Lisbon, Munich, Hamburg, Vienna, Berne, Warsaw, Dublin, London, Prague and others.

They’ve also postponed dates in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America for November and December 2020.

Fans can request refunds at point of purchase or via Ticketmaster.

As of press time, the band is set to kick off North American dates on July 4th with The Smashing Pumpkins on select stops. Major stops include Philadelphia, PA; Detroit, MI; Toronto, ON; Washington, DC; East Rutherford, NJ; and Boston, MA.
