Event will be held during Jackson’s birthday week in New York City

More than 800 illustrious items owned by Jackson, will be offered to the public, representing her groundbreaking five-decade career in entertainment and her legendary inimitable style as one of the world’s most iconic women. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the child advocacy group Compassion International.

In launch of this momentous event, exclusive exhibition previews of this collection will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida beginning April 11th and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey beginning May 8th as Janet Jackson kicks off her highly-anticipated Together Again Tour of North America at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on April 14th, leading up to her auction and celebration of Jackson’s birthday week.

On display and heading to the auction stage will be a dazzling collection of Jackson’s famous costumes worn in her iconic music videos, record-breaking world tours and acclaimed live television performances, as well as from her life away from the spotlight, such as select custom-made pieces from her personal wardrobe and beloved home furnishings. The range of items also includes her fashion defining red carpet ensembles worn to prestigious events such as the BET Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and gala movie premieres, designed exclusively with premiere couture fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Gianni Versace, Christian Louboutin, and many more.

Janet Jackson is one of the most influential entertainers of the modern era. Her music has won her five Grammy Awards, two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a nomination for an Academy Award along with dozens of American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
