Band plans to return to the US in 2024

Mötley Crüe is already plotting its next moves following the success of The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. The trek wrapped September 9th in Las Vegas where Tommy Lee announced he was joining OnlyFans and caused complaints from fans for his on stage antics.

One day before, frontman Vince Neil told the Las Vegas Review Journal that the band is “far from over” and are plotting a 2024 US tour and contemplating another Vegas residency.

“We’re far from being over. When we come back in ’24, we’re going to do it all over again,” he says.

The band, which has previously played two Sin City residencies in 2012 and 2013, are considering returning for a third one in 2024.

“We have definitely talked about doing it, and everybody loves to do the residencies, so I say, ‘Yeah, we’re gonna do it,'” Neil adds. “We just have to look at sometime in ’24, to be back in Vegas. But we will be back.”

Neil also shares that there’s no desire to record anything new at this time, even though fans are requesting a new album.

“We are strictly a touring band,” he states. “When you see this show at Allegiant [Stadium in Las Vegas], you’ll see why. You’re going to see something that’s unbelievable, lights and lasers, three dancers. There are a lot of cool special effects, and a cool band putting on a rock show.”

The rockers have not released a new album since 2008’s Saints of Los Angeles, but have recorded new songs in recent years, including “The Dirt (Est. 1981)” with Machine Gun Kelly for The Dirt that became a huge No. 1 film.

After two summers of delays, The Stadium Tour kicked off in June and became the biggest North American stadium tour this year. Members of Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard have shared that the trek may go international next year, although nothing has been confirmed as of press time.

Twenty-five stops of The Stadium Tour sold out while amassing over one million tickets sold to eager fans wanting to see Mötley Crüe return seven years after their Cessation of Touring agreement. The band destroyed the contract following a massive surge in new audience after the huge success of their Netflix biopic The Dirt.
