Rescheduled trek kicks off Sept 26th

The Rolling Stones have announced rescheduled dates for their No Filter Tour that was originally set for last year, but postponed due to the pandemic. Most of the stops are a go with a few newly added. However, a few cities were unable to be accommodated and will be refunded automatically from Ticketmaster. Those ticket holders will be offered priority access to purchase tickets for a different show, where feasible.

“We are thrilled to be able to announce the rescheduled dates for the Rolling Stones 2020 US tour, which will now go ahead this fall!” the band shares in a statement. “We want to thank you all for your patience during this very difficult and unprecedented time.”

The 13 date trek now kicks off September 26th at the Dome in St. Louis with stops in Pittsburgh, Nashville, Minneapolis and more before wrapping November 20th at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. Newly added stops include an appearance at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The pre-sale for the Stones mailing list for New Orleans, Los Angeles and Las Vegas shows will run Wednesday, July 28th at noon local time through Thursday, July 29th 10 pm local via Ticketmaster. General sale commences Friday, July 30th at 10 am local time.

On July 9th, their performance at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on February 8, 2006 was released for the first time ever on a variety of formats via Mercury Studios. The Rolling Stones — A Bigger Bang: Live On Copacabana Beach was remixed, re-edited, and remastered, and includes four songs not originally featured in the 2007 DVD release, The Biggest Bang.

In May, the group released remastered lyric videos for their 1968 smash hit single “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and its relatively obscure B-Side “Child of the Moon.” Both tracks have been newly remastered by 12x Grammy-winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig, and are also available digitally as a single on all streaming platforms.
