NBC and Peacock have announced the nominees and commencement of voting for the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards. Voting is now open and fans worldwide can vote for their favorite nominees across 12 categories, including the night’s top honor, The People’s Artist of 2023. Hosted by superstar country music group Little Big Town, the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards will air live Thursday, September 28th at 8 pm ET/PT simultaneously on NBC and Peacock from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. A limited number of show tickets and VIP packages are available now at Opry.com.

An award show for the people and by the people, the “People’s Choice Country Awards” will recognize the biggest and best country music has to offer, chosen entirely by the fans. Blake Shelton, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Old Dominion and Zach Bryan are up for the People’s Artist of 2023.

Voting begins today (Wed, Aug 16th) and runs through Friday, August 25th at 11:59 pm ET at votepcca.com. Additionally, votes cast on Turbo Tuesday, August 22nd from midnight until 11:59 pm ET will count twice.

The show will extend across platforms with “Backstage Live: People’s Choice Country Awards.” The livestream will air on Peacock, PCA Twitter, NBC Twitter/Facebook/YouTube, Today All Day/Twitter, E! News Twitter/Facebook/YouTube/E!Online, Access Twitter/YouTube, and Circle TV Network and Circle social platforms, bringing red carpet arrivals, backstage chats and everything behind-the-scenes to fans at home.

The People’s Choice Country Awards will also bestow several honorary awards throughout the evening. As previously announced, country legend Toby Keith will receive the Country Music Icon Award, presented by Blake Shelton. Additional honorary award recipients, performers, presenters and more will be announced in the coming weeks.

People’s Choice Country Awards is produced by Den of Thieves with executive producers Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager and Barb Bialkowski.
