The song is from his seventh studio album
Thomas Rhett is sharing another new track “After All the Bars Are Closed,” a captivating country-soul jam from his upcoming album About a Woman, set to drop on August 23rd via The Valory Music Co. The track captures the romantic atmosphere of extending the night beyond the bar, exploring a deep, budding romance. With clean guitars, finger snaps and a smooth, velvet-like beat, Rhett delivers the lyrics with a suave vocal that blends quick-hitting confidence with genuine attraction.
Thomas Rhett continues to showcase his power and songwriting prowess and his seventh studio album is no exception––he had a hand in writing 12 of the project’s 14 tracks including today’s newest release. Produced primarily by Dann Huff and Julian Bunetta, the album has already earned praise from critics for its first released tracks “Gone Country” and “Overdrive,” plus Top 20-and-climbing lead single “Beautiful As You.”
Produced primarily by Dann Huff and Julian Bunetta, About a Woman‘s tempos were kept high and the melodies tight, and while organic country makes up the foundation, layers of retro ‘80s sounds and thumping beats span the album’s fourteen anthemic instant classics. All but one co-written by Thomas Rhett, his upcoming seventh album proves that his songwriting prowess is just as powerful as the stadium-rocking charisma that has cemented him as one of country music’s most consistent yet dynamic modern superstars.
Recently, Rhett also shared the electric “Feelin’ Country” from Twisters: The Album, the star-studded musical companion to the upcoming adrenaline-pumping Twisters from Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Amblin Entertainment.
The country star recently announced a mini-residency at the BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas in December. He has also launched a tequila brand, Dos Primos, now offering Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo variants.
