2025 Metal Hall of Fame Gala to become telethon for Los Angeles wildfire victims

Over 40,000 acres have burned in multiple fires throughout the region

Organizers of the Ninth Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala have announced that the 2025 edition will become a fundraising telethon to help raise money for displaced families of the recent Los Angeles County wildfires.

The Gala will be held on January 22nd at the Grand Theater, Anaheim, California. A Celebrity Red Carpet will take place 7 pm with the induction ceremony, live performances and all-star jam to start at 8 pm.

Rock stars, celebrities, music executives, supercross motorcycle racing stars, and surprise guests will join forces at the Gala to help this great cause. Radio/Television Legend Eddie Trunk and entertainment personality Cathy Rankin will host the event. Poison’s Rikki Rockett, Kill Devil Hill, former Megadeth members Chris Poland and Jeff Young, Southern California’s Alibis, and Rochester New York band Wicked will perform, along with All-Star Jams and surprise performances.

A direct livestream link to a disaster relief fund will be provided on the day of the Gala via its Facebook page. One hundred percent of all funds raised from the livestream link will be donated to the Los Angeles County wildfire victims, to help them re-establish their lives once again.

Rockett, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, Misfits’ Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Fear Factor’s Burton C. Bell, Megadeth’s/Kings of Thrash’s Jeff Young, Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz, Dangerous Toys, and KNAC will be inducted this year.

In the past week, the community has suffered at least 24 lives lost, nearly 100,000 people under evacuation orders, 40,000 acres burned, and more than 12,000 structures destroyed.
