The virtual reality concert premieres on January 24th via Meta Quest

Get closer than ever to Shawn Mendes, whose chart-topping hits have captivated audiences around the globe, in this 180-degree experience filmed at one of the world’s most legendary concert venues, Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Feel the thrill of Mendes’ raw and versatile performance as he connects with fans beyond the boundaries of a traditional concert and shares personal stories behind his latest album Shawn.
Shawn Mendes: Red Rocks Live in VR will premiere on Friday, January 24th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT exclusively in Meta Horizon Music Valley. The experience will also be available on web and via the Meta Horizon mobile app.
“Red Rocks was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in my life, it was absolutely stunning,” Mendes shares. “That night was so special to me, and I’m so happy to be able to bring it to those who couldn’t be there in person.”
The concert will feature Mendes’ hit songs including “Stitches,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “In My Blood,” “Why Why Why,” and more. The concert, which is custom-made for VR with a runtime of 83 minutes, was filmed to give the audience a front-row seat for his captivating Friends and Family performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, blending the venue’s stunning scenery and natural acoustics.
Replays will be available for a limited time in Meta Horizon Music Valley, the ultimate virtual reality music festival experience that gives fans a front-row seat to incredible performances from Shawn Mendes, Charli XCX Troye Sivan, Sabrina Carpenter, and many other artists.
