The R&B superstar continues his reign as the company’s most popular artist
Global superstar and hit-making icon Bruno Mars has become the first artist in Spotify history to reach 150 million monthly listeners. He is currently the No. 1 artist on Spotify.
Mars’ made history after another record-breaking moment in 2024 when his collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Die With A Smile,” became the fastest song to hit one billion streams in Spotify history. His collaboration with Rosé, “APT” also just crossed one billion streams, giving Bruno the top two fastest songs to reach the billion mark. Mars has 17 songs that surpassed one billion streams on Spotify including hits like “Locked out of Heaven,” “That’s What I Like,” “Just the Way You Are,” and more.
This milestone comes on the heels of Mars joining Sexyy Red on her new song “Fat Juicy & Wet,” which came out on Friday, January 24th.
