Jordan Davis announces ‘Learn the Hard Way’

The country star releases a new track from upcoming album

Jordan Davis comes off jam-packed week with his new track “Jesus Wouldn’t Do” via MCA. The song follows a surprise sold-out hometown show, performing at CMA Fest’s Nissan Stadium, and receiving the official plaque for the RIAA gold-certified single “I Ain’t Sayin’.” His newly released song is featured on his upcoming and highly anticipated album Learn The Hard Way, available on August 15th.

Jordan kicked off CMA Fest week by participating in the Folds of Honor Softball Game alongside fellow country music stars, comedians, pro athletes and more – helping raise over $670,000 for Folds of Honor Tennessee. Following the game, Jordan returned home to Louisiana for a surprise concert in celebration of his hometown high school’s 100th anniversary. Selling out in less than two minutes, all proceeds for the concert will be directed back to C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jordan was also inducted into C.E. Byrd High School Hall of Fame.

“Jesus Wouldn’t Do” was written by Jordan Davis, Jacob Davis, Josh Jenkins, Matt Jenkins, and produced by Paul DiGiovanni – follows the album title track and recent release “Learn The Hard Way.” The highly anticipated album also includes single “I Ain’t Sayin’,” Jordan’s eighth career No. 1, alongside recent releases “Bar None,” “Know You Like That,” and “In Case You Missed It.”

Learn The Hard Way is Davis’ third album, joining his platinum-selling debut, Home State, and follows his platinum-selling Bluebird Days, which produced four consecutive No. 1 singles (“What My World Spins Around,” “Tucson Too Late,” “Buy Dirt” and “Next Thing You Know”) and two Song of the Year winning song titles “Next Thing You Know” (ACM) and “Buy Dirt” (CMA and NSAI) off of one album – the first artist in history to ever do that.
