Riley Green launches ‘The 90s Country Show’ on Apple Music Country

The debut episode will air on July 30th

Riley Green has announced The ‘90s Country Show, a new radio series airing exclusively on Apple Music’s global live-streaming radio station Apple Music Country.

In the new series, fans are invited to hop in and take a trip back in time with Riley Green as the Alabama-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter takes listeners back to one of the genre’s most influential decades. Throughout six nostalgia-inducing episodes, Green will revisit some of the biggest hits from artists who defined the era and continue to inspire country music today, taking listeners on a journey through the years, spotlighting his favorite songs and sharing the impact they’ve made, not only on himself but on the genre as a whole.

“I grew up on ’90s country—it’s the music that shaped who I am as an artist,” Green tells Apple Music. “This Apple Music show is a real full-circle moment for me,” he says. “I’m excited to take fans back to that era and maybe introduce a few new folks to the kind of country music that raised me.”

In the premiere episode of The ‘90s Country Show, Riley Green dives into his love for legendary band Alabama, breaks up with a caller’s boyfriend for her, and shares about the colorful characters in his family. Country legends Tracy Lawrence and Billy Ray Cyrus also lend their support during this hour-long, lighthearted ride through country music’s most influential decade.

The first episode airs on Wednesday, July 30th at 5 pm CT/3 pm PT on Apple Music Country. The ‘90s Country Show with Riley Green will also be available on-demand for Apple Music subscribers on Apple Music.
