Stories Behind the Songs launches in September
Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Jimmie Allen has released two new songs as he announces his Stories Behind the Songs US tour for this fall. “Beer 99” and “Small Town Anthem” are now available with “Country Boys Never Learn,” set for release on August 12th via West Village Entertainment.
Running from September 5th through November 29th, the 14-date tour will kick off this fall in Dallas, TX, with stops across North America in Syracuse, Rutherford, Kansas City, Portland, and more before wrapping up on November 29th in Rochester, NH.
The songs mark his first new music since being accused of sexual assault in 2023. Allen acknowledged the affair and publicly apologized to his wife Alexis Gale after it was announced the pair were separating after nearly three years of marriage and a baby was on the way. Following the claims, Allen was dropped by his record deal, agency and publicity firm.
Three studio albums later, ACM & CMA New Artist of the Year nods, and Grammy Best New Artist nomination (first male country artist nominated in the category), Allen continues to showcase his versatility on any stage he graces, blending heartfelt country with urban influences to create his signature sound.
