Gryffin unleashes ‘Air’ remixes with Excision

The set features Heyz, Neotek, Angrybaby, Layz, Calcium, RetroVision, RZRKT & All The Reason

Dance music powerhouse Gryffin and bass titan Excision have unleashed eight new remixes of their collaborative single “Air” featuring Grammy-nominated vocalist Julia Michaels out now via 10K Projects.

Originally released in April, “Air” fused Gryffin’s soaring, cinematic melodies with Excision’s floor-rattling low-end and Julia Michaels’ emotive vocal delivery, creating a track tailor-made for both mainstage euphoria and bass-heavy mayhem. Now, eight dynamic artists reimagine the hit across the electronic spectrum.

The remix package includes fresh takes from Heyz, Neotek, Angrybaby, Layz, Calcium, RetroVision, RZRKT, and All The Reason. Each producer injects their unique sonic DNA, from blistering dubstep drops to pulsing techno builds and festival-ready future house grooves, delivering a collection as diverse as it is hard-hitting.

Gryffin is currently on a hot streak with collaborations like “In My Head” with Kaskade, ‘Hard Time Lover’ with Chance Peña, “Higher Power” with Lavern & AR/CO. Earlier this year, Gryffin tapped Silver Panda and RSCL to remix “In My Head,” while last year’s Pulse album saw reworks from R3HAB, YDG, Jerro, and more. Gryffin will continue to attract packed crowds at his upcoming festival appearances at Breakaway Michigan, Ultra Japan, Wicked Oak, Escape Halloween, and EDC Orlando, along with his first-ever headline Australia tour.

After launching the year with “Air,” Excision has kept momentum high with heavy collaborations alongside Svdden Death and Sullivan King. The “Air” remixes arrive just in time for his curated festivals, with the seventh edition of Bass Canyon and eighth edition of Lost Lands set to dominate the bass music calendar once again.
