Reba McEntire releases ‘Trailblazer’ live performance video

The clip was captured during a headlining set at the Music City Rodeo

Country music icon Reba McEntire releases a fiery performance video for “Trailblazer (Live From Music City Rodeo)” featuring surprise appearances from Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson. McEntire kicked off the sold-out inaugural event at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on May 29th.

Written by Lambert, Wilson, and Brandy Clark, and produced by McEntire and Tony Brown, the song is a heartfelt tribute to the pioneering women of country music who paved the way for future generations, now captured in a live video. The electrifying performance showcased soaring vocals, raw authenticity, and the camaraderie of three trailblazing women, cementing “Trailblazer” as an anthem of grit, resilience, and the enduring power of women in country music. At the close of the performance, the three women joined hands in a powerful tribute, standing together as three generations of country music trailblazers united in honoring the past, present, and future.

The song, released earlier this year, garnered an impressive 2.6 million on-demand streams in its first week, marking a new personal best for Reba in the streaming era.

The 70-year-old multi-faceted superstar will be doing double TV duty this fall with NBC. The second season of her new sitcom, Happy’s Place, will premiere in November.

She also returns as a coach on season 28 of The Voice. This will mark the fourth run for Reba, who previously served as a coach from seasons 24-26. The show launch will with two hours on Mondays and Tuesdays in September before moving to one night a week with the NBA. Fans can see the show on Tuesdays for three weeks at the start of the season before moving to Mondays through at least December. The NBA schedule is still being finalized, so airdates are subject to change.
