Chris Tomlin releases ‘Jesus Saves’

The song is the latest from the upcoming The King Is Still The King

Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Tomlin releases a new song and lyric video for “Jesus Saves” from his highly anticipated upcoming new album, The King Is Still The King, scheduled for September 26th via Capitol CMG. “Jesus Saves” was written by Tomlin, Chris Davenport, Jason Ingram, Phil Wickham and Ben Fielding. The song follows on the heels of the release of “Doesn’t He,” “The First Hymn,” and his current radio single “How Good It Is.”

“The lyric in the song – ‘He did what I could not do’ – is salvation explained in its simplest form,” Tomlin shares. “That is the Cross. That is the message. My friend Max Lucado said it perfectly… it’s not about what you do. It’s not about what you don’t do. It’s about what’s already been done.”

“How Good It Is” is Tomlin’s largest debut since his song “Thank You Lord” with Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line, from his 13th studio album Chris Tomlin & Friends, released in 2020.

America’s worship leader continues his Worship Under The Stars concert series through October 21st at the famed Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, a venue he has sold out multiple times.
