Zac Brown Band has released two new songs, “Butterfly” featuring Dolly Parton and “Give It Away,” from their forthcoming seventh studio album, Love & Fear. The “Butterfly” video features an incredibly moving performance from Zac Brown and the iconic Parton. The song showcases their raw talent through perfect harmonization and inspiring, heartfelt lyrics.
“Getting to record ‘Butterfly’ with Dolly is a dream come true,” says Brown, “She’s always been one of my biggest inspirations, not just as an artist, but as a person. Collaborating with her brought a whole new perspective to the song. Together, we were able to capture the power of storytelling, weaving a narrative we hope will deeply resonate with listeners. Her voice brings so much heart and soul to this track and singing it with her was pure magic. This song was written for my kids for all the challenges life brings.”
The band’s forthcoming full-length album, Love & Fear, will be available on Friday, December 5th, alongside their highly anticipated performances at Sphere in Las Vegas. The album also features a guest appearance by Marcus King.
Current dates for the Sphere engagement include December 5-6, December 12-13, and January 9-10. The December dates are sold out with limited availablity for January.
