Visva/Republic Records has released a deluxe edition of the biggest-selling soundtrack of the year, KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film). The 35-song set contains unreleased tracks “Prologue (Hunter’s Mantra)” and “Jinu’s Lament,” and sing-along, instrumental, and a cappella versions of the film’s hit songs.
The song of summer, “Golden,” continues to make history, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1 for three weeks, earning the biggest sales week for any song in 2025. KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) climbs the charts for a ninth consecutive week with over three billion global streams and continues to be the highest charting soundtrack of the year.
The original animated film officially became Netflix’s most popular film of all time on the Most Popular English Films list, while also reigning at the top spot as Netflix’s most popular original animated film! This past week, like Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop,” the film continues to be all that fans can think of, every time they (figuratively) drink up, as it spent another week in the Top 10 with an additional 30.1 million views. The number of views in a film’s 11th week is something no other film has ever accomplished.
The soundtrack features original songs written by Danny Chung, IDO, Vince, Kush, Ejae, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, Daniel Rojas, and produced by Teddy Park, 24, Ido, Dominsuk, Lindgren, and Ian Eisendrath. Original songs are performed by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga. The soundtrack includes the original song “Takedown” featuring Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung from K-pop powerhouse girl group Twice.
KPop Demon Hunters, a Netflix film from Sony Pictures Animation, follows K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey – when they aren’t selling out stadiums, they use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat.
