The remastered deluxe edition will be available this fall
Everclear has announced the Sparkle and Fade 30th Anniversary Remastered Deluxe Edition will be released on Friday, October 31st, on double translucent kelly green vinyl and digital via Universal Music Group. The new, expanded edition of the 90s alt rockers’ platinum-selling, major-label debut album features all 14 original tracks, remastered by Brad Blackwood, plus a second record of bonus content pulled from the vault, featuring unreleased tracks, alternate versions of fan favorites, and original demos, as well as cover songs that were recorded around the same time as the original Sparkle and Fade sessions.
Sparkle and Fade, which had a massive impact in 1995 with its chart-topping hit “Santa Monica.”
Everclear is celebrating 30 years of the album on the Sparkle and Fade 30th Anniversary Tour. The 43-date headlining tour, featuring special guests Local H and Sponge, kicked off last week in Los Angeles and has already been selling out nightly. The Sparkle and Fade 30th Anniversary Tour will cross the U.S. through November 2nd.
