Aespa teams with Sevdaliza for ‘Rich Man’

The collab with avant-pop artist Sevdaliza and an English version of ‘Rich Man’ is available now

Global K-pop powerhouse Aespa has unleashed new versions of their electrifying single “Rich Man.” Arriving a week after their sixth mini album, Rich Man, the unstoppable girl group fires up a collaboration with critically-lauded avant-pop artist Sevdaliza and an English version of the track for international fans.

Iranian-born, Dutch-raised singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist, Sevdaliza, is celebrated for her genre-defying sound and artistic versatility. Tipped by Vogue as “the most intriguing pop artist” on the cusp of global stardom, Sevdaliza infuses ‘Rich Man’ with her fiery energy to amplify the song’s self-empowering message. The bombastic link-up with Aespa lands ahead of her forthcoming album “Heroina,” due on October 31st, which includes the global standouts “Alibi” and “Ride or Die, Pt. 2.”

“Rich Man” is a powerful dance track powered by captivating, gritty electric guitar riffs and lyrics that radiate self-confidence and empowerment. The action-packed official music video, which has racked up over 26 million views in just five days, is further testament to aespa’s relentless rise.

Aespa’s sixth mini-album has amassed over 1.1 million in pre-orders alone to become their seventh consecutive million-seller via SM Entertainment. The six-track release flexes Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning’s ever-expanding sonic palette, from dance-pop to hip-hop and dreamy R&B, all brought to life by the quartet’s evocative vocal delivery.

Rich Man features the title track, “Drift,” a hip-hop dance number marked by its addictive whistle sound; “Bubble,” a drum ‘n’ bass infused number that likens insincere behavior to a bubble waiting to burst; “Count On Me,” a dreamy R&B track; “Angel #48,” an English language track with a touch of Y2K hyperpop; and “To The Girls,” an uplifting pop mid-tempo.
