All-star Spinal Tap tribute album unveiled

Proceeds will benefit young people with cancer

Teen Cancer America, the national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer, has unveiled the release of a monumental tribute album, The Majesty of Rock, celebrating the legendary mock-rock band Spinal Tap. This officially sanctioned digital album features 32 iconic songs from the Spinal Tap catalog, covered by a diverse and star-studded lineup of acclaimed artists.

Produced by journalist and podcaster Marc Shea, the album boasts an incredible roster of talent, with songs submitted by members of Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Go-Go’s, Mastodon, System Of A Down, Soul Asylum, The Handsome Family, Kyuss, Failure, Vixen, Foreigner, and the Smoking Popes. The collection also features a contribution from the legendary Robyn Hitchcock and a special performance by TCA’s Play It Back Players.

This unique fundraising initiative will directly support Teen Cancer America’s mission to provide specialized facilities and programs for adolescents and young adults with cancer in hospitals across the United States.

The double album grew from a humble beginning into a massive undertaking, fueled by passion for the music and the cause.

The limited-edition digital album is available for download on the Teen Cancer America website. Only five thousand copies will be available. The minimum donation of $19.84 offers fans a chance to own a piece of rock and roll history while making a significant difference in the lives of young cancer patients.
