The track hits with over five thousand pre-saves and ten million social views
Viral country riser and Red Street Records recording artist Taylor Austin Dye drops her latest single, “Damn Good Day,” available everywhere. Following her sophomore album, Sick of Me and viral single “Rest In Peace,” the song offers fans an up-tempo track with a punchy hook, all delivered with Taylor Austin Dye’s signature edge.
The chorus sings, “Must be somethin’ in the water / Or the moon’s in retrograde / If you’re gonna mouth off don’t bother / Unless you wanna see how I’s raised / Zero to batshit, just one flip of the switch / It’s a bad day to be a lady / And a damn good day to be a bitch.”
Co-produced by Dye and Lex Lipsitz and written by Dye with co-writers Delaney Ramsdell, Andrew Capra, and Kasey Tyndall, “Damn Good Day” drops alongside an official music video. Fans can watch Dye comically march to the beat of her own drum at a strict finishing school for girls, showcasing her iconic sass and swagger.
“I’m beyond excited about this song! ‘Damn Good Day’ is an anthem for the girls who are done playing nice and ready to let it all out… It’s a bad day to be a lady, but it’s a damn good day to be a bitch!” Dye says.
