Wicked Week runs from November 16-19
NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is going full Oz ahead of the upcoming cinematic release of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good. The epic finale to the global cultural phenomenon hits theatres nationwide on November 21st. The Tonight Show’s week-long celebration will feature a magical lineup of the film’s stars and special musical moments.
The week kicks off Sunday, November 16th, with a special post-Sunday Night Football edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The episode, which will feature guests Rosalía and DJ Khaled, will debut a new “Wicked Beat Bit,” a follow-up to last year’s viral sensation, featuring cast members from the film. The original musical segment garnered over 228 million views and 20 million interactions across all digital platforms, making it one of the most-watched Tonight Show segments of 2024.
Wicked: For Good cast members appearing on the show during the week include Cynthia Erivo, who portrays Elphaba, on Monday, November 17th; Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda, will make her 12th appearance on the program on Tuesday, November 18th; with Michelle Yeoh, who plays Madame Morrible, appearing on Wednesday, November 19th.
Emmy nominee Jonathan Bailey recently appeared November 3rd on The Tonight Show to promote his role as Fiyero in Wicked: For Good. He also announced he was crowned 2025 People’s Sexiest Man Alive
Ahead of Wicked week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, fans can now stream the musical event, Wicked: One Wonderful Night, presented by NBC and Universal Pictures, on Peacock. The one-time-only, two-hour special features electrifying performances from the cast, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive surprises, and a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next chapter of Oz.
