Mt Joy announces 2026 North American tour dates

Hope We Have Fun Tour: Part 2 emphasizes fair and accessible pricing

Following the breakout success of their 2025 album Hope We Have Fun, Mt. Joy has announced a new North American tour for 2026. The tour follows a massive run that saw the band sell nearly 200,000 tickets across the U.S., including sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, The United Center in Chicago, a milestone show at Fiddlers Green in Denver where the band sold nearly 14,000 tickets, a sold out TD Garden date, and multiple hometown nights at The Mann Center in Philadelphia and stints at festivals including a headlining spot at Newport Folk Festival.

The Philadelphia band has continued to grow into one of America’s most beloved live acts, known for blending anthemic folk-rock energy with emotional storytelling. Their latest album captured that balance perfectly, debuting in the Top 10 on Spotify’s U.S. Album Chart and landing multiple songs across AAA radio’s Top 10, including “Highway Queen” featuring Maren Morris and “She Wants to Go Dancing.”

The new tour will kick off this spring after the band’s debut Australia/New Zealand run, bringing Mt. Joy back to some of their favorite cities and venues, alongside new stops yet to be announced. Presales are underway, ahead of the general sale on Friday, November 14th at 10 am local time.

The newly announced spring leg, billed as The Hope We Have Fun Tour: Part II, features a run of cities the band did not visit during the 2025 tour, except Charlotte, and includes several venues the group has either not played in years or will be performing at for the first time. Notably, the band’s last show in the Fort Lauderdale area was in 2020, and this will mark their debut at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The tour also includes a stop at the brand-new Longhorn Backyard Amphitheater in Dallas, which opened earlier this year. Ticket scaling is being approached with price sensitivity in mind to ensure accessibility for fans, and as with previous tours, $1 per ticket will go directly to charity, with the beneficiary organization to be announced soon.

Beyond their musical success, Mt. Joy’s touring has also become synonymous with impact. The band has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to organizations, including the ACLU and Family Reach, hosted non-perishable food drives at shows, and visited children’s hospitals on their journey.

Through direct ticket donations, benefit concerts, exclusive merch collaborations, and creative partnerships, Mt. Joy has raised over $700,000 for charity since 2022, using their platform to inspire empathy and action. The band’s philanthropic ethos has become central to their identity, whether through their viral single “Lucy,” which raised funds for brain cancer research, or through partnerships with nonprofits that support relief efforts in Asheville, artists, and families in crisis. As frontman Matt Quinn has shared, “Music gives us a platform, but the real work is what we can do with it.”
